High Commissioner Inaugurates Pakistan Pavilion at Major North American Food Expo

Ottawa: The Pakistan Pavilion at the SIAL Canada 2026 food products exhibition in Montreal featured six prominent exhibitors, showcasing Pakistan’s diverse and high-quality food products. The pavilion at Sial Canada, the largest Food and Beverage exhibition in North America region, was inaugurated by High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem. The High Commissioner, Consul General Faisal Abro and Trade and Investment Counsellor Altamash Janjua hosted visit of the Canadian Federal and Quebec Government dignitaries as well as private sector representatives to various stalls of Pakistan Pavilion.

Pakistan’s strong presence at the three-day long (April 29 – May 01, 2026) exhibition highlighted the country’s deep interest in enhancing export of food products to Canada and offered platform for exporters to connect with international buyers and agri-food industry stakeholders.
