New Program Merges Contemporary Art, Northern Landscapes and Hospitality in Hunza

Spokesman Report

Islamabad: An initiative bringing together contemporary artistic practice and immersive hospitality within Pakistan’s northern landscapes.

PC Legacy Hunza, part of PC Hospitality, and Articulate Studios have announced a strategic collaboration to develop and host a site-responsive Artist Residency program in Hunza, designed to foster dialogue between contemporary art, landscape, and hospitality.

The collaboration brings together Articulate Studios’ curatorial and conceptual expertise with PC Legacy Hunza’s immersive hospitality environment, creating a platform where artists can engage deeply with place, process, and production. The residency will culminate in a public exhibition that reflects the creative outcomes developed during the program, followed by a secondary presentation at Articulate Studios.

Positioned within the culturally and geographically rich context of Hunza, the initiative underscores a shared commitment to supporting emerging and established artistic voices while expanding the role of hospitality spaces as sites of cultural production and exchange.
“We are profoundly honored to partner with Articulate Studios to launch this unique Artist Residency at PC Legacy Hunza, firmly establishing our hospitality spaces as vibrant centers for cultural production and creative exchange” said Jwairia Farhat, Brand Ambassador Luxury & Upscale PC Hospitality. “By immersing contemporary artists within Pakistan’s northern landscapes, we are proud to champion and communicate the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the Hunza region, a profound source of living heritage that endlessly inspires travelers, communities, and artistic voices alike”

Through this partnership, both institutions aim to cultivate meaningful artistic experiences that connect audiences with contemporary practices in ways that are grounded in place, collaboration, and creative exploration.

The residency further reflects a growing synergy between the cultural and hospitality sectors, where experiential travel and artistic engagement converge to create new models for creative residency and public interaction.
