Lauds student’s role, advises them to be honest with their parents, state

ISLAMABAD/NIAMEY: National Debating Competition organised by the students at Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey.

The Ambassador of Pakistan Ahmed Ali Sirohey was the guest of honour at a national debating competition organised by the students at Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey, Niger on Monday.

Speaking at the occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan Ahmed Ali Sirohey congratulated the whole students particularly the winners of the competition.

He appreciated efforts of the organisers for developing positive approach and healthy activities such as debating competitions among students. He acknowledged focused approach towards knowledge based education. “Students are the leaders and future of Niger. They should set their goals for higher education and come up to the expectations of their parents, teachers, the ambassador said.”

He also spoke about international challenges and informed the audience about Afghanistan issue. He informed the audience that Pakistan always looked forward for maintaining its good relations with brotherly countries. Pakistan is going to host 17th session of OCI Council of Foreign Ministers on 19 December 2021 in Islamabad,” he informed.

At the end of the ceremony, he assured that the embassy of Pakistan would keep supporting youth in their future endeavors.
