The Pakistan’s Commercial Councilor posted in Mexico Ms. Shabana Aziz worked hard and closely with the key stake holders of the Mexican automotive industry and was able to arrange relevant representatives to meet with Pakistani representatives. Mr. Gunter Daut President Cluster Automotriz de SLP, Luis E. Portugal – Miniter State Representative, Mr. Pedro Hugo Garcia Gonzalez Chairman and Eduardo Alberto Infante Priego Vice President – Aguascalientes State were present in the Webinar.

Mashood Khan, Pakistan Automotive Specialist praised the CC and the members for their presence in the webinar, He discussed the current strengths of the Pakistan Auto Engineering Industry and also shared many areas where mutual cooperation could start and gradually increase.  Major States where automotive industry exists in Mexico are Zacatecas, San Luis Potosi, Queretaro and Aguascalientes. These states are famous for automotive in Mexico – Said Mashood Khan Pakistan Automotive Specialist. Mexico is the 7th largest automotive producer in the world. one of the big auto parts distributors like VAZLO will be attractive for Pakistani Auto parts manufacturers.

In the webinar, opportunities were found in the forging parts and rubber parts segments in Mexico.  After the webinars, some companies contacted our members in Pakistan and initial queries have started. This is the beginning because in engineering goods the gestation period to mature business takes a certain time.

Other areas were discussed in the Webinar i.e., how the industry is doing in COVID, and what policies has the Mexican government introduced to enhance the industry in different ways. Mexico is already a hub for large scale manufacturers who outsource the parts to USA and CANADA.

The exhibitions have been closed all around the world and that is why the Commercial Councilor for Mexico Ms. Shabana Aziz took an aggressive move to organize a WEBINAR for Auto parts Exporters from Nov 2020 to March 2021. Participation from Pakistan was from Darson Industries, Mehran Commercial Enterprises, Mannan Shahid Forgings, Thermosole, Kor Tech, Standard Engineering, Landhi Engineering, Merlalastik Rubber, Precision Products, Infinity Engineering.

Mashood Khan hopes these activities will create a new beginning for Pakistani Auto parts manufacturers in this untapped market.

Also said stated that these webinars will continue in the future and our commercial counselors will be a bridge between the two countries industries.
