Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed gratitude over completion of one year of success in ‘Maarka-e-Haq’ (The Battle of Truth). She saluted the heroes of ‘Maarka-e-Haq;’ and paid tribute to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Air Marshal Babar Zahir, and Admiral Naveed Ashraf. She said that the enemy will never be able to forget ‘Maarka-e-Haq’ of 8-0, as the world has witnessed, and will continue to witness Pakistan’s victory and India’s defeat. She added that ‘Maarka-e-Haq’ engraved a mark of Pakistan’s awe (formidable majesty) on the enemy, as it has proven that we are peace-loving, but when needed, we stand as a lead-molten wall (Bunyan-um-Marsus). She underscored that ‘Maarka-e-Haq’ has become a chapter of Pakistan’s greatness in the world history.
Chief Minister Punjab said that in ‘Maarka-e-Haq,’ the world saw the entire nation united and resolute, becoming an unbreakable wall (Bunyan-e-Marsus) against the enemy. She added that the unity of Pakistan’s armed forces and its people forced the enemy to bow his head; and noted that fearless leadership laid the foundation of a historic victory in ‘Maarka-e-Haq.’ She highlighted that today, every patriotic Pakistani around the world is celebrating the success of ‘Maarka-e-Haq.’
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif noted that in Punjab, ‘Maarka-e-Haq’ is being celebrated in every city, every village, every street and alley, as students, teachers, traders, lawyers, politicians, farmers, rather the entire nation are celebrating this victory. She flashed that Pakistani eagles (Shaheens) proved their superiority over the enemy through their professional combat skills.
