Iran Expresses Condolences Over Quetta Mine Tragedy

ISLAMABAD: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad, along with the resident diplomatic corps, has expressed profound grief and extended heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Pakistan over the tragic mine incident in Quetta, Balochistan, which claimed the lives of 32 miners.

In a statement issued on Friday, the embassy described the incident as heartbreaking and conveyed its deepest sympathy, particularly to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the tragedy.

The statement acknowledged the sacrifices of the miners, noting that they had worked tirelessly to support their families. It also expressed solidarity with all those affected by the incident.

The Iranian Embassy prayed for the speedy and complete recovery of those injured in the accident and expressed hope for the safe rescue and recovery of those who remain missing.

Reaffirming its support during this difficult time, the embassy offered sincere prayers for the departed souls, asking Allah Almighty to grant them eternal peace, bless their families with patience and strength, and provide comfort to all those mourning the tragic loss.
