Pakistan Will Continue to Pursue Stability Despite External Challenges, Security Sources Say

Date:

Spokesman Report

ISLAMABAD: A senior security official held an extensive interaction with media influencers on regional security, during which India’s internal situation, regional dynamics, and security challenges facing Pakistan were discussed, according to security sources.

The briefing emphasized that India was allegedly attempting to divert international attention from its domestic challenges by creating instability in the region, particularly targeting Pakistan. Security sources claimed that the Indian leadership was reluctant to acknowledge changing regional realities and accused the country of pursuing expansionist policies driven by the Hindutva ideology.

During the session, security sources expressed concern over what they described as increasing religious intolerance, shrinking space for minorities, and restrictions on freedom of expression and press freedom in India. They also alleged that the Hindutva ideology had undermined India’s secular identity and contributed to growing social polarization.

The briefing further highlighted the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), with security sources alleging that the territory remains heavily militarized and that its residents continue to face severe restrictions. They also accused India of using false-flag narratives to divert attention from internal issues and indigenous movements.

According to the security sources, a stable, prosperous, and moderate Pakistan is viewed with concern by extremist elements in India. They maintained that Pakistan remains committed to safeguarding its sovereignty, national security, and regional peace while continuing efforts toward stability and development.

The security sources also alleged that the leadership of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee was acting in line with an Indian agenda. They asserted that the people of Pakistan have never been intimidated by India and will continue to stand united in defense of the country’s sovereignty and national interests.
