Bannu: Seven civilians were martyred and several others injured in twin IED blasts targeting a passenger vehicle in Domel tehsil, security sources confirmed
According to security officials, the attack occurred in the Panga Musa Khel area of Domel when an improvised explosive device planted by Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Khawarij militants struck a passenger van. In a second cowardly act, the terrorists also targeted a vehicle carrying the bodies and wounded to Domel Hospital, causing additional casualties, sources said.The dead and injured were shifted to Domel Hospital for treatment. An investigation into the incident is underway, officials added.Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the perpetrators.The attack is being seen as another attempt by Fitna al-Khawarij to target innocent civilians and soft targets. By striking ordinary citizens and rescue workers, the group has once again proved it is an enemy of humanity, officials stated.
