Bakhtawari Family Honored for Patriotic Investment at Best Price Super Market Launch

Islamabad: Chairman of the Founder Group of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Tariq Sadiq, said that new investment in the current economic conditions sends an encouraging message. He stated that the retail sector is an important pillar of Pakistan’s economy, as it not only provides employment to millions of people but also plays a key role in documenting the economy, expanding the tax net, and organizing the supply chain.

He expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Best Price Super Market at Sukh Center, Bahria Town the other day. Earlier, he inaugurated the superstore by cutting the ribbon along with Syed Qasim Munir, Secretary General UBG Zafar Bakhtawari, former President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries Ahsan Bakhtawari, and Hasnain Qasim.

The ceremony was attended by Waqar Bakhtawari, Arham Bakhtawari, Haris Bakhtawari, Salman Bakhtawari, Uzair Bakhtawari, Bilal Bakhtawari, ICCI President Sardar Tahir Mahmood, Ijaz Abbasi, President Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries Owais Satti, President Blue Area Yousaf Rajput, and ICCI Executive Members Malik Mohsin Khalid, Ishaq Sial, Malik Abdul Aziz, Naveed Satti, President Jinnah Super Market Asad Aziz, General Secretary Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, Group Leader F-10 Tahir Abbasi, President I-8 Markaz Chaudhry Waheed Cheema, along with a large number of members of the business community.

In his address, Tariq Sadiq said that the Bakhtawari family is a loyal and patriotic family of Pakistan that has always been at the forefront of national development. Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, in his address, said that business is not only about profit but also a commitment to trust, quality, and service. He added, “We want this supermarket to become a symbol of convenience, transparency, and reasonable prices for consumers.”

He further said that to stabilize the country’s economy, the private sector must step forward and invest. “When we start new businesses, we do not just build our own institutions; we open doors of employment, provide opportunities to local suppliers, and create positive competition in the market.”

President Blue Area Yousaf Rajput said that new businesses create an atmosphere of confidence in the market. When investment increases, employment rises and the economic wheel moves faster.

Former Senior Vice President ICCI Naveed Malik, while thanking the guests, said that unity among the business community is their real strength.

On this occasion, Malik Khalid Hussain, Azhar-ul-Islam, Nisar Mirza, Sardar Zaheer Ahmed, Zareef Khan, Nasir Chaudhry, Fasihullah, Imtiaz Abbasi, Khalid Chaudhry, Chaudhry Sharif, Malik Nadeem Kakazai, Malik Nadeem Gujar, Malik Naveed Hussain, Ashfaq Chattha, Chaudhry Ameer Hamza, Taimoor Hassan, Khalid Abbasi, Imran Bukhari Babar Chaudhry, Jameel Khokhar, Saif-ur-Rehman Khan, Faizan Shehzad, Sajid Kazmi, Chaudhry Muhammad Ali, Saima Khan, Abid Bajwa, Kamran Shehzad, Malik Tahir, Mohib Tahir, and others also attended the ceremony.
