Nakhchivan, December 26, AZERTAC

On September 27, in response to the provocations committed by the Armenian side on the frontline, our Army launched a counterattack and saw the successful results, and my comrades and I were eager to participate in the victory march of our Armed Forces.
This statement was made in an interview with the Nakhchivan bureau of AZERTAC by Mirtaleh Seyidov, a participant in the Great Patriotic War and a member of the special forces.
Mirtaleh Seyidov was born in 1995 in the city of Julfa. Mirtaleh, who was called up for active military service in 2013, served in the army as a special purpose. In December 2014, he enrolled in a secretarial course. He successfully completed the course and continued his service. During his service, he improved his knowledge and skills by participating in numerous courses.
Our fighter, who gained his first combat experience in the successful Gunnut operation in May 2018, stressed that the experience gained in Gunnut was very useful for him in the battles in Karabakh. He noted that the first battles took place in the direction of Fizuli, and he and his comrades crossed the glorious road to Shusha. The most difficult battles took place in Hadrut, Dashalti and Shusha. Although the enemy tried to resist in these directions, our army broke the resistance and destroyed them. The enemy saw that he could not fight with our soldiers in a face-to-face battle and tried to ambush them. Nevertheless, our servicemen responded to the Armenians from their ambush. The revenge of our martyrs was taken from the enemy, and their blood was not left on the ground.
The special envoy said: “Seeing the support of our people to their soldiers during the war gave us great enthusiasm. “After the liberation of every inch of our land from occupation, watching the people show great support for our Army, applaud our soldiers and officers, take to the streets and shout slogans led us to new victories.”
Speaking about the history of the flag he brought from Shusha, Mirtaleh said that this flag is doubly dear to him. So, before the start of the operation in Shusha, one of his comrades took out the flag he had put on his heart and showed it to him, saying that his greatest wish was to wave this flag in Shusha. He asked to raise this flag in Shusha if he was killed or wounded. Unfortunately, that comrade-in-arms reached the peak of martyrdom in the battles in Dashalti. “After the liberation of Shusha, I waved that flag over one of the largest buildings in the city to fulfill the dream of our martyr. I looked at the flag I hung there and said in my heart that my martyr slept peacefully and your soul was happy, our Army, like you, fulfilled the greatest wish of dozens of our martyrs. When I returned to Nakhchivan, I brought that flag with me.
