Islamabad: Muhammad Rafiq Dar, the JKLF spokesman in a statement issued from party’s central information office said that Kashmiri people can not be deterred from their just demand of freedom of Jammu Kashmir by the use of force and oppressive measures by India. He said that time has proved the oppressive policies of India a futile exercise for Her. Resultantly, with the increase in hatred against India, the new and the fourth generation of Kashmiris has now taken over the reins of the freedom movement into their own hands.

JKLF strongly condemns the arrest of two sons (Mujahid Sehrai and Raashid Sehrai) of shaheed Ashraf Sehraie from their residence. The widow of shaheed Sehrai underwent a heart attack after she learnt about the arrest of her sons. She and her two daughters tested positive for COVID19 and are under treatment this time.

The spokesman termed this Indian act as inhuman, undemocratic and uncalled for, and demanded the immediate and unconditional release of both the sons of shaheed sehrai.

The party spokesman said that RSS backed superintendent of Udhampur jail with his oppressive measures has turned the jail in Guantanamo Bay and has put half of the jail inmates in danger who have tested positive for COVID19. He appealed to the international community, especially the Amnesty International and Red Cross to intervene and save the lives of Kashmiri prisoners in Indian jails especially in Udhampur jail.

The spokesman condemned the continued military attacks of Israel on innocent Palestinian people and demanded UN and OIC to take immediate action against Israel.
