FPCCI Delegation led by Qurban Ali Chairman FPCCI Capital Office met Turkish AmbassadorIslamabad : A delegation of the business community led by Qurban Ali, Chairman, FPCCI Capital Office Islamabad called on Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Ehsan Mustafa Erdakl. Discussions on further improving bilateral trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Turkey. The delegation of FPCCI comprised on Chairman FPCCI Capital Office Qurban Ali included Former President of Gilgit Small Chamber Shafqat Ali and Muhammad Nawaz from Gujranwala Chamber.

Speaking on the occasion, FPCCI Capital Office Chairman Qurban Ali stressed on further strengthening of bilateral trade and relations between Pakistan and Turkey and said that it is time to increase the volume of bilateral trade between the two countries. He highlighted various investment opportunities in Pakistan in the Sectors of oil and gas, mines and mineral, gem stones, tourism, information technology, food processing, agriculture, dairy products, furniture, hotel and resorts. He further said that the experience of Turkish tourism sector can be utilized for the development of the tourism sector. Half of the world’s highest peaks are in Pakistan and the current government is also paying special attention for the promotion of tourism. The Turkish advanced technology in various fields may lead the Pakistan’s various sectors developed and beneficial, he added.
Ehsan Mustafa Erdakl, Turkish Ambassador said that the vision and ideology of Pakistan and Turkey are similar and the friendship between the two countries is considered best and ideal in the world. The private sector of both countries have come more closer in this era through FPCCI and Turkish Chamber of Commerce which are playing their pivotal role in stabilizing and enhancing bilateral trade relations between both the countries.
Turkish Ambassador Ehsan Mustafa Erdakl added here that, Turkish businessmen are keen to visit Pakistan to explore new business and investment opportunities. He said that it is the time to transform historical good bilateral relations into closer trade and economic relations between the two countries. A large Turkish trade delegation will visit Pakistan once the pandemic of Covid 19 improves. The Turkish Ambassador also invited the FPCCI delegation to visit Turkey and assured his full support and cooperation to make it fruitful for them.
