ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kistafin, Monday, supported the proposals of the interlocutor and emphasized the importance of establishing direct ties between universities of Kazakhstan and Pakistan in order to boost people-to-people contacts between two countries.
Ambassador visited Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU 50 Golden Years), and he met with Vice
Chancellor Muhammad Ali. The Vice Chancellor briefed about the activities and rich history of the University and informed on cooperation with the Kazakh National Pedagogical Unıversity Abaı.
Nevertheless, he expressed interest in further establishing and strengthening cooperation
with Kazakh universities. He proposed to organize a webinar this year dedicated to the research of universities of the two countries in the field of science and technology.
Muhammad Ali confirmed participation in the upcoming conference on interreligious dialogue, initiated by the Embassy jointly with the Nazarbayev Center for Development
of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue and the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI).
