London: Chaudhry Tabraiz Aura has been elected President of the Pakistan Press Club London after securing the support of a large majority of journalists in the club’s elections.
Following his victory, Chaudhry Tabraiz Aura expressed heartfelt gratitude to the journalist community for their trust, support, and confidence. He described the result as a collective success, crediting everyone who voted for him and supported his team’s vision.
He pledged to serve the journalist community with honesty, dedication, and commitment, promising to strengthen unity, protect the dignity of journalists, and work for the continued development of the Pakistan Press Club London.
According to the newly elected president, his panel won 11 out of 13 seats in the elections. While celebrating the overall success, he also expressed disappointment over losing two key positions, claiming that his colleagues had not received fair treatment. Despite these concerns, he reaffirmed his commitment to respecting democratic values and continuing to work positively in the best interests of the journalist community.
Chaudhry Tabraiz Aura also thanked voters, fellow journalists, members of the Pakistani community, and every member of his panel for their unwavering support. He called on all members to work together to make the Pakistan Press Club London a stronger, more active, and respected institution.
