Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Receives Grand Welcome in Kamalia

Toba Tek Singh: Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider was accorded a warm and grand welcome upon his arrival at the residence of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) District President Toba Tek Singh Atif Raza Khan Kharal in Kamalia. A large number of PPP leaders, workers and local residents gathered to receive the Governor. A major workers’ convention was also organized on the occasion, attended by party office-bearers, workers and representatives from various walks of life.
Addressing the convention, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider said that Pakistan Peoples Party is a popular political force that has always struggled for public service, democracy and the protection of people’s rights. He stated that PPP has achieved significant success in the recent Gilgit-Baltistan elections and expressed confidence that the party would form the government there.
The Governor further said that PPP remains committed to the vision and ideology of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and continues its efforts to resolve public issues. He thanked the PPP leadership, workers and people of Kamalia for their enthusiastic reception and said he was deeply grateful for the love, respect and hospitality shown to him.Speaking on the occasion, PPP District President Atif Raza Khan Kharal said that the visit of Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider to Kamalia was a matter of great honor for local party workers. He thanked the Governor for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit Kamalia and encourage PPP workers. He assured that party workers would continue their efforts to promote the party’s message at the grassroots level.On this Occasion, Former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Belum Saadat Hasnain Khan Kharal said that the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is an important social welfare initiative that provides financial assistance to deserving and low-income families across the country. She stated that thousands of households are benefiting from the programme, which is playing a significant role in supporting the weaker segments of society.She said that the primary objective of BISP is to reduce the hardships faced by poor and underprivileged families by providing them with financial support, enabling them to meet their basic needs more effectively.Former PPP candidate for the Provincial Assembly, Captain (R) Saadat Hasnain Khan Kharal also welcomed the Governor and thanked him for his visit.He said that Pakistan Peoples Party has always stood by the people and raised its voice for their rights, even during difficult times. He expressed confidence that through stronger public engagement and organizational efforts, PPP would achieve further success in future elections.At the conclusion of the convention, party workers raised slogans in support of Pakistan Peoples Party and its leadership. Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider also meet with party leaders and workers. A large number of political, social and business personalities were present on the occasion.
