Lahore, 01 June 2026: In her special message on Global Day of Parents, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif extended warmest regards to all parents, and paid tribute to their everlasting sacrifices in raising and shaping characters of their children. She praised parents’ sacrifices, love, and role in children’s lives; and said that this day is observed globally to raise awareness about respect for parents, their rights, and responsibilities. She added that parents are the greatest blessing in the world, as their love, prayers, and guidance are the most valuable assets for children. She highlighted that every success in life is achieved due to sincere support and prayers of one’s parents, as my father and leader, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, always encouraged me to serve the poor and the needy. She recalled that when she assumed the office of Chief Minister, her father Muhammad Nawaz Sharif gave her the greatest encouragement.
