Eid-ul-Fitr: A Message of Sacrifice, Brotherhood, and National Unity

Multan: Renowned industrialist, Chairman of SM Group of Industries, and member of the National Export Development Board and Board of Investment, Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali Anjum, expressed his views on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, stating that this festival is not merely about celebrations, new clothes, and outward happiness, but carries a profound message of sacrifice, patience, gratitude, and mutual compassion.
He said that the spiritual training of the holy month of Ramadan teaches us to rise above self-interest and support the underprivileged and deserving segments of society, emphasizing that true happiness lies in bringing smiles to others’ faces. He added that Eid-ul-Fitr guides us towards unity, brotherhood, and tolerance—values that can help build a strong, prosperous, and dignified society.
On this occasion, he stressed the importance of including the less fortunate in our celebrations and addressing their needs so that the true spirit of Eid can be realized.
Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali Anjum further stated that in the current circumstances, there is a pressing need for national unity, economic stability, and mutual trust. He urged everyone to rise above personal interests and contribute to the progress of the country, as this collective spirit can lead to shared success.
