Sadia Rashid’s 27th Ramazan Message Links Laylat al-Qadr to National Identity and Gratitude

Date:

Spokesman Report
KARACHI : This blessed night of 27th Ramazan, Laylat al-Qadr, is truly a great gift of guidance and well-being for all humanity. On this sacred night, Allah revealed the Holy Quran, providing mankind with a complete guide for liberty and progress. This night is not only for worship and devotion but also for renewing our collective commitments and reflecting on our responsibilities.
In the same spiritual spirit, our national identity is connected to the fact that the creation of our beloved homeland is a manifestation of Allah’s special will and grace. We must show gratitude for this blessing, value our independence, and remember it with religious and national fervour.
Shaheed-e-Pakistan, Hakim Mohammed Said, was the flagbearer of the movement to recognise 27th Ramazan as Independence Day. He devoted his life to this cause and educated the masses about the significance of this day. He put his commitment into practice by establishing Madinat Al-Hikmah, the city of knowledge and wisdom, and other educational institutions such as Hamdard University, Hamdard Public School, and Hamdard Village School. Today, 27th Ramazan is marked as Pakistan’s Independence Day in Hamdard-affiliated educational institutions with national and religious zeal.
As a nation, it is our responsibility to reflect on our deeds during the nights of Ramazan, seek forgiveness for our shortcomings, and offer special prayers for the safety, unity, and stability of our beloved country. If we weaken our ideological and spiritual bonds, we will fall prey to discord and internal divisions.
Let us pledge during the blessed hours of Laylat al-Qadr to strengthen our faith, remain loyal to our homeland, and pass on the true purpose of Pakistan’s creation to future generations. May Allah, by His grace, deliver humanity from the conflicts and unrest that prevail around the world and promote peace, security, and brotherhood everywhere. May Allah bless Pakistan with peace and progress. Ameen!
