I offer my heartfelt congratulations to Russia’s Muslims on Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
For centuries, this holiday has embodied believers’ aspirations for moral excellence, mercy, and compassion, guiding them toward the enduring values of Islam.
Russian Muslims deeply honor the historical and spiritual traditions of their ancestors and widely celebrate this holiday within their communities and families. Throughout the holy month, it has become a cherished tradition to organize large-scale charitable, cultural, educational, and children’s events.
Muslim organizations contribute make a meaningful contribution to strengthening the institution of the family and the upbringing of youth. They engage in constructive dialogue with government and public institutions, devoting sustained efforts to patriotic, educational, and humanitarian initiatives.
Special words of gratitude are due to the followers of Islam who are fighting for the freedom and independence of their Russian Motherland alongside their comrades-in-arms, as well as those supporting the families and loved ones of our heroes.
I wish you good health, success, and all the very best.
Vladimir Putin
