ISLAMABAD: The second meeting of the First Council Board of “Belt and Road” Medical Device Innovation and Application Alliance (BRMDIA) was convened in the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST) by the joint efforts of 109 institutions from 20 countries and regions through online and on-venue modes.
According to a report of China Economic Net (CEN) in this meeting Dr Muhammad Shahbaz President of China Pakistan Medical Association from Pakistan has been awarded a certificate of excellence for his great contributions to the Health Corridor project.
The council meeting was held to review the one-year work and have an outlook for the plan of 2022. Three alliance member units won the Special Contribution Award of 2020-2021 for their outstanding performance.
Dr Muhammad Shahbaz President of China Pakistan Medical Association from Pakistan has actively promoted China-Pakistan cooperation in the medical field and was top on the list.
Talking to CEN, Dr Muhammad Shahbaz said that as Chairman of China Pakistan Health Corridor & President of China Pakistan Medical Association he feels immense pleasure to address the council board as a new member of the Belt & Road Medical Device Innovation Alliance.
“I am honoured to be able to come to USST for this wonderful event and I can’t help admiring the dynamic and prospective Alliance, which has created so many opportunities for our future cooperation”, he added.
He further said that he is extremely honoured today to get the Certificate of Appreciation for his liaison work from the Belt and Road Medical Device Innovation and Application Alliance.
This is another big glamour followed by the title of Ambassador of Silk Road Friendship granted to me by the China 2020 Silk Road Friendship Award Organizational Committee.
