In a letter to the world”s religious leaders and cultural figures, the Chairman of the Iranian has called for condemnation of the barbaric crimes that are taking place in the land of Palestine and the birthplace of great divine prophets and take an earnest step in fulfilling your religious and humanitarian obligations.

Honorable religious leader, dignitaries, respected thinkers, and freedom-loving people of the world
Endless greetings to you and all justice seekers
Living in the light of peace and tranquility is a divine gift that God has bestowed on human beings, but unfortunately, this divine blessing is being threatened by some today, and the right granted by God is being taken away from them through tyranny and crime.
These days, we are witnessing that the blood-stained hands of the occupying Zionist regime are once again stained with the blood of innocent children, women, and civilians, and surprisingly, this cruel act is being carried out in front of the eyes of the pretenders of democracy and human rights, while they remain silent.
This crime against humanity has wounded the souls of all peace-loving people around the world. The leaders of the world”s religions are not expected to remain silent in the face of this shameful act and refrain from taking effective action in accordance with the most fundamental religious teachings in defending the oppressed and extinguishing the blazing fire of this crime.
No free human being can remain silent in the face of blatant oppression and cruelty, and in the meantime, the expectation from religious leaders and cultural figures that “freedom” is an essential part of their personality and characteristics of their social status, is much greater.
It should be remembered that the establishment of lasting peace and security in Palestine, as stated by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, will be possible only with the return of the Palestinian refugees and the collective decision of all its inhabitants, Jews, Christians and Muslims, and nothing else.
Therefore, I, as the Chairman of the of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has been working for years to develop knowledge and understanding of religions and cooperation among them, invite all religious leaders and cultural figures to condemn the ongoing barbaric crimes in Palestine, the cradle of great divine prophets and take an earnest step in fulfilling the religious and human obligations for which they are responsible.
We ask God Almighty to help us in this important undertaking.
