Must read

A major aviation disaster was narrowly averted when Serene Air flight ER821, en route from Lahore to Jeddah, was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff due to an engine malfunction.

The aircraft, which had already faced an eight-hour delay, took off from Lahore Airport but immediately encountered severe engine vibrations, prompting the cockpit crew to take swift action.

The pilot quickly contacted Air Traffic Control (ATC) and requested permission for an emergency landing. ATC officials promptly cleared the aircraft for landing, and the pilot successfully brought the plane back to Lahore Airport, ensuring the safety of all passengers on board.

Over 200 passengers were safely evacuated and moved to the waiting area as airline engineers began inspecting the aircraft.

According to initial reports, a critical engine malfunction was detected on the runway. A detailed technical evaluation is now underway to determine the exact cause of the failure.

In response to the incident, Serene Air’s management has arranged an alternative flight to transport the stranded passengers to Jeddah.
