A number of Russian unmanned aerial vehicles have recently illegally flown into the airspace of NATO allies.

That’s according to Ukraine’s Air Force Command, Ukrinform reports citing its Facebook page.

According to the report, Ukraine’s Air Force radars recorded the crossing the country’s state border toward Poland of what is believed was Russia’s Forpost-type UAV complex.

“The occupier’s drone first circled over the Yavoriv training ground, apparently assessing the fallout of the missile attack in Lviv region, then flew into Poland, and then returned to the Ukrainian airspace before being shot down by our air defense. The search for the wreckage is still underway,” said Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Air Force Command.

The Air Force also recalled earlier reports about the discovery in neighboring Romania of a Russian Orlan-10-type UAV, which is exclusively in service with the Russian Armed Forces.

“As we can see, the occupiers continue their provocations, without hesitating to fly into the airspace of NATO allies,” the Air Force said in a statement.

As Ukrinform reported, a Russian drone armed with an explosive device most likely crashed in the Croatian capital, Zagreb, last week.

As reported, the Russian invasion of Ukraine has been going on since February 24. The aggressor has been shelling and destroying key infrastructure, residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
