Known to the world as the champion of underworld, the murderer, the most ferocious Dawood Ibrahim. However, behind those guns it’s always a person, a man, a humankind like you and me, to whom we never thought to understand. It doesn’t matter if you agree with me or not, but we our self are very unthoughtful people, we declare someone wrong without understanding the reason, or the problem that lead someone to choose the wrong direction, moreover on some occasions, what seems wrong to us, feel the very right to the other, depends upon the vision and the circumstances. Here I believe before judging to anyone first try to put yourself in his or her boots, then table talk to come on the mutual solution.
Dawood Ibrahim, a brilliant mind, a true masterpiece, an example of a fortune builder. Born in a humble family on 26 December 1955 in Khed, a relatively small town in the district Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India, his father Ibrahim Kaskar was a constable in “Mumbai Police” and mother named Amina Bi was a normal housewife. In total they were five brothers and four sisters, this means the family have not enough economic means, seeing his father’s job tile. However, later they moved to Dongri, a port city near Mumbai, where Dawood joined Ahmed Sailor High School, obviously there was lack of motivation or the need to look after the family or might it be the bad company that Dawood dropped out and started working as a mechanic, or part time rickshaw driver to earn money.
Why a child shifted his childhood to becomes a labor? Answer is to earn money, when there comes a need to earn money, otherwise he could have sat and watch TV in air conditioning room. I am not sure if any of my reader visited the areas where child labor took place, but you all must have seen them selling drawing books on the traffic signals, don’t their eyes ask millions of questions, nor they tell you the untold stories, the unfortunate stories? Indeed, mankind is very fragile in sense of write and wrong, or let’s say poverty, inequality, and a very few numbers of opportunities are the root cause of all the delinquency of this world. When you see hunger encircling your home, when you have a number of empty mouths to feed, when have sisters to wed, parents getting old, things change. However, I agree that, God gave us choice, as there are many other examples of calamitous people rewriting their history, but not everyone is that fortunate.
Thus, by the time Dawood reached his teens, he finds himself involving in doing frauds and petty crimes, he used to sell duplicate watches in the Crawford Market Mumbai. Following he joined the famous gang of Haji Mastan, which cost him the life of his brother, Sabir, in return this flashed the previously composed Dawood, he flamed the city and cleared all the rivals coming in the way or made truce with some hence became the master of Mumbai or Indian underworld.
India talks lot about Dawood and blamed his name for many of the tragedies, nevertheless it’s their usual pattern, whatever the truth is, but India trembles with Dawood Ibrahim’s name.
