PC Hospitality announces appointment of Azam Jamil as Special Advisor to CEO–Education, Hashoo Group

Islamabad: Hashoo Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Azam Jamil as Special Advisor to the CEO, Education. A true pioneer in the hospitality world, Mr. Jamil brings with him decades of excellence, from becoming the first Asian Director for Best Western Colorado, managing 80 hotels across the state, to leading iconic hotel launches across Islamabad, Kabul, Dushanbe, Shigar, and Khaplu as Corporate Director at Serena Hotels. His previous tenure as COO of Hashoo Education Division helped elevate education standards and operational efficiency nationwide. Most recently, he served as Chief Hospitality Officer, spearheading new ventures under the Beaconhouse Group umbrella.
An alumnus of Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration, Mr. Jamil is also widely regarded as an influential trainer, strategist, and motivational speaker, having delivered impactful sessions to leading banks, multinational corporations, and academic institutions across the country.
His multifaceted contributions extend to the public sector as well, where he served as Minister of State for Tourism Coordination and Chairman of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), playing a pivotal role in shaping national tourism policy and infrastructure.
His return to Hashoo Group marks a strategic step forward in the group’s commitment to delivering world-class hospitality education including through the Hashoo School of Hospitality Management (HSHM), developing globally competitive talent with internationally recognized qualifications and future-ready leadership skills.
