GENEVA: In a landmark achievement, Pakistan signed a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Ambassador Khalil-ur-Rehman Hashmi, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva signed the SLA with Daren Tang, Director General, WIPO.

The agreement will enable IPO-Pakistan to have access on more WIPO facilities for improvement of its service delivery to IPR applicants. It will be helpful for effective and efficient processing and examination of IP applications at IPO-Pakistan.
