Kyrgyz ambassador presented credentials to President of Pakistan

Islamabad, at the residence of the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan “Aiwan-e-Sadr”, a solemn ceremony of presenting credentials by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr.UlanbekTotuiaev to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Arif Alvi was held.
During the conversation, Ambassador U.Totuiaev conveyed greetings from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Sadyr Japarov to the Head of Pakistan.
President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi congratulated U.Totuiaev on his appointment to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and wished him success.
Ambassador U.Totuyaev noted the close historical and cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, significant potential for the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation. He assured that he would make every effort to further develop and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The parties discussed important issues of bilateral political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as the situation in Afghanistan.
