Karachi: Iftikhar Arif said that addressing a video link from Islamabad, he said that he has a lot of literary talent.
He founded literary festivals in the country.
He also had a great ability to translate. No one else has done the work he has done in 50 years.  He highlighted new writers
Prominent intellectual Shamim Hanafi, while addressing a video link from Delhi, said that writers and poets were deeply shocked by the departure of Asif Farkhi.  When I went to Karachi University with him last year, I saw that his students love him very much. This is proof of being a good teacher as well as a good person.
Asif Farkhi had many similarities with Aslam Farai.  He said that Asif was a great writer and also a great organizer. Amna Syed said that 5,000 people participated in 17 literary festivals and the first festival with Asif.  Asif wanted to cover the world of literature and present it to the people. He used to spread love and affection.  Ghazal Asif said on a video link from the United States that Abu’s name will be kept alive by his friends.  He used to attend Urdu conferences enthusiastically. Afzal Ahmed Syed said that what he did in his life would keep him alive.
I wrote that he loved Urdu.  The second thing Asif did was that he did not leave Karachi in love with the city despite the opportunity. Mubeen Mirza said that he could not believe that Asif was not with us.  Asif left a gap that will never be filled.  Azhar Abbas said that Asif’s work will keep him alive. Dr. Fatima Hassan said that there are many aspects of Asif’s life.  He was great at writing stories. If you want to read Asif, you can find him in his story.
