Historic Meeting of the National Skills University Islamabad Academic Council

The first meeting of the Academic Council of National Skills University Islamabad was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar. In this meeting, all members of the Academic Council, including Prof. Dr. Anwar Khattab, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Mirpur University of Science and Technology, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, participated.

At this historic meeting, the Vice Chancellor, National Skills University Islamabad, welcomed all the members and highlighted the efforts of the University and its role in promoting academic activities, especially inhigh-tech skills/vocational education.

The members of the Academic Council approved curricula of eight skill education, providing academic departments of the University and associated matters.

The Academic Council stressed adapting the University’s educational programs to the United Nations Sustainable Development Principles. Worth mentioning that National Skills University Islamabad also has the unique honor of being a UNESCO-UNEVOC Center.

At the end of the meeting, the Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts made by the Academic Council members to improve the educational programs
