FGEI inks LoU with 1LINK

FGEI inks LoU with 1LINKRawalpindi : Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantt and Garrison) signed a Letter of Understanding (LoU) with 1-LINK Pvt Ltd to collect online fee from the students / parents on quarterly basis through 1-Link online bill payment system.

Director Colleges FGEI and  Muhammad Bashir Khan, Chief Operating Officer, 1-LINK signed the said agreement.

Speaking at the occasion, Director Colleges highlighted the importance of digitalization in education system, therefore FGEI has also decided to provide hassle-free online fee depositing approaches to students/ parents. 

In order to avoid cash handling by teachers / NTS and to ensure financial transparency, initially, a pilot project will be launched at FGEI (C/G) Wah Region, and the same will be replicated to the remaining 11 regions thereafter.

Muhammad Bashir Khan, COO 1-Link, said that 1-Link will provide multiple payment channel to the students/ parents including internet banking, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Easy paisa, Jazz cash and mobile banking for trouble free payment process.
