SHEIKHUPURA: Elections of District Karate Association Sheikhupura held in Press Club Sheikhupura, Sports Ambassador Muhammad Akram Khan Afridi elected as President and Azeemullah Siddiqui General Secretary, Chairman Pakistan Karate Federation and President Punjab Karate Association Muhammad Jahangir supervised the elections.

Three dignitaries have been nominated for the patronage of District Karate Association Sheikhupura on honorary basis, Javed Meraj Chairman, Inamullah Advocate Senior Vice Chairman and Usman Majeed Blue Wrestler Vice Chairman. During the election Mohammad Akram Khan Afridi elected as President, Mohammad Shahid Sharif Senior Vice President, Asiya Firdous, Mazhar Maan, Abdul Rauf, Waqas Latif and Mustafa Khan Vice Presidents, Azeemullah Siddiqui General Secretary, Mohammad Waqas Dogar, Inamullah Advocate and Nasreen Bhatti Associate Secretary. Wasi Haider Treasure, while Muhammad Ajmal, Malik Arif Iqbal, Rukhsana Arshad, Ali Malik, Syed Danial Hussain Jafari, Ghulam Mustafa Advocate, Muhammad Naeem Advocate, Umair Shafiq and Mehrab Younis were elected as executive members.

Chairman Pakistan Karate Federation Muhammad Jahangir congratulated the newly elected officials while addressing the participants highlighted the game of Karate and directed the District Karate Association to take effective steps for the promotion of Karate in Sheikhupura. Javed Meraj, Chairman of the Association also addressed the participants, he promised that effective steps would be taken for the construction of Karate hall and promotion of Karate in Sheikhupura. Muhammad Akram Khan, Azeemullah, Nasreen Bhatti, Asiya Ferdous, Waqas Dogar informed to participants about future plans of District Karate Association Sheikhupura.
