Dust storm hits Karachi badly

Karachi: The incident took place in Karachi, which has been under the influence of cyclonic storm. At any rate four people were killed in rooftop breakdown occurrences after
a sand storm followed by light downpour hit parts of Karachi on Tuesday evening after the city stayed in the holds of an extreme warmth spell for two days.

The Pakistan Meteorological Division (PMD) on Saturday has anticipated sand storm in Karachi with a radical change in climate. Instantly a spell of windy breezes shuddering
with dust is anticipated in Karachi with odds of shower in the northern pieces of the city also, expressed the PMD estimate. It said the westerly breezes going to Karachi have caused the climate change with a recorded 39-to 49 Km/h wind blast as of now.

The power was shut down after the hit. Electric power supply to a few zones was suspended after the dangerous sand Storm hit the city.
These territories included Malir, Shah Faisal Town, Tariq canister Ziyad Society, Model State, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Jackson Market, Orangi, Landhi and Korangi.

Sardar Sarfaraz of the Meteorology division disclosed to Sunrise that “the dangerous sand storm was caused because of the impact of the typhoon framework being in southern Pakistan’s area joined with neighborhood climate conditions.” He said, “Karachi could encounter windy breezes again until the typhoon framework is out of the area.” Sarfaraz noticed that the city’s temperature had fallen by 7-8 degrees not long after the residue storm, saying it was probably going to drop further as the climate standardize
