Spokesman Report

Dubai, UAE – In a heartfelt response to the ongoing crisis in Gaza, Amna Khaishgi, a renowned Dubai-based Pakistani edupreneur and chairperson of a Canada-based Early Learning and Child Care company, has announced a significant initiative aimed at providing education to Palestinian children affected by the war. As a resident of the UAE for over 20 years, Khaishgi is committed to empowering as many Gaza children as possible and ensuring they have the tools to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Khaishgi’s vision is clear and ambitious. When asked how many Palestinian children she aims to educate, she responded, “As many as we can. Children are the first collateral of any war and conflict. They need to be protected with the right education. We, at Coded Minds, want to play our bit to support them as much as we can.” This underscores her belief in the transformative power of education, especially for children living through conflict.
Given the challenging situation on the ground, Khaishgi’s initiative will leverage the flexibility of modern technology to reach these children. She explained that despite being a Canada-based education company, geographic distances are no longer barriers in today’s interconnected world. “It all depends on where and how we are getting interest and admission inquiries,” she added. This approach highlights the adaptability and resilience of her educational model, ensuring that learning can continue despite the adversities.
The educational initiative will primarily target children at the early education stage, specifically from kindergarten to grade 5. By focusing on this crucial developmental phase, Khaishgi aims to lay a strong foundation for these young minds, equipping them with fundamental skills and knowledge during their most formative years.
When asked about the motivation behind this initiative, Khaishgi’s response was rooted in a deep sense of responsibility and empathy. She emphasized the urgency of reaching out and empowering Gaza’s children, irrespective of their current locations. “We are aiming for Gaza children wherever they are. As I said, the place is irrelevant, reaching them out and empowering them is more important,” she stated. This sentiment reflects a broader commitment to social responsibility and humanitarian efforts.
The initiative is designed to provide continuity in education for children until they can return to their routine lives. “We will ensure that these children, till the time they go back to their routine life, we help them to continue with education, especially younger ones. War trauma can only be neutralized with the right education,” Khaishgi explained. This approach not only addresses the immediate educational needs but also aims to provide emotional stability and a sense of normalcy amid the chaos.
Khaishgi is committed to this initiative, emphasizing that the impact is far more critical than the financial investment. “Numbers are irrelevant. We have resources to support the project and we will ensure that each child coming into our wings is empowered with education,” she affirmed. This philosophy underscores a dedication to meaningful and sustainable change rather than mere statistics.
Amna Khaishgi’s educational initiative for Gaza children is a beacon of hope during a time of profound crisis. In a world where children often bear the brunt of societal upheavals, initiatives like Khaishgi’s offer a lifeline, paving the way for a brighter and more empowered future.
