Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan and Zalmi Foundation team up to support PM’s Clean and Green Pakistan vision

Lahore: Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited (CCI Pakistan) and Zalmi Foundation, a not for profit organization, signed a letter of intent to support the Prime Minister’s ‘Clean and Green Pakistan’ and the ’10 billion tree tsunami’ initiatives. Under the collaboration, CCI Pakistan will empower the Zalmi foundation through a support fund to procure and plant more than 50,000 tree saplings and carry out cleaning activities in 8 major cities of Pakistan. The intent letter for this support was formally signed during a special ceremony held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Lahore.

While speaking about this collaboration, Basit Zafar Pirzada, Corporate Affairs Manager at CCI Pakistan said, “This partnership serves as an expression of CCI Pakistan’s commitment towards being a responsible and environmentally conscious corporate citizen. We firmly believe in protecting and nurturing the environment. All corporate citizens of Pakistan have a moral obligation to expand the social footprint of ongoing Government initiatives such as the ‘Clean and Green Pakistan program”. 

CCI Pakistan, as part of its corporate social responsibility agenda, stands committed to supporting the Government of Pakistan in various initiatives to make Pakistan ‘Clean and Green’.
