Students thrill the audience with their mesmerizing performances

Islamabad :AIMS Education System has celebrated its 15th Annual Sports Day مہرجان الالعاب on December 25, 2021 with great passion and enthusiasm. The students and staff prepared the day despite the overcast sky and chilling cold windy weather that could not even undermine their efforts.
The Chief Guest Ms. Zia Batool, the Chairperson Pakistan Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) and the guest of honour, Mr. Hamza Shafqaat, Deputy Commissioner, Islamabad have graced the occasion with their presence. Syed Jamil Hashmi ® AIG , National Highway & Motorway Police also grace the occasion . The celebrations begin with Tilawat-e-Kalam-e-Pak & Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (S.A.W). Later, the existing crowd with a standing ovation gave tribute to the School Anthem followed by a grand Walk Past performed by the participating students of the day. Flag hoisting was as always, a strong depiction of Unity, Faith, Discipline and sovereignty of Islamic republic of Pakistan and releasing of colourful balloons and birds was a message of peace, prosperity and freedom. The Torching of sports Cauldron was the next striking memorable moment followed by a magnificent Drill performance of the five houses named as Ghauri House, Khalid House, Qasim House, Tipu House and Ghaznavi House.
These five houses represented a true sportsman spirit and glorified the occasion with their performances that were amazingly prepared through months of endeavours and passion. As the day began, the parents and families were amazed to see the vigorous and exciting display of sports and culture together. The participation by the (Main Campus) Jr. Montessori till Prep boys and girls, from grade I till X kept the audience engaged and thrilled with the games like Balance the ball, tunnel & stair race, bunny & carrot race, spoon & lemon race, tug of war and many other eye-catching performances.
Another sequence of keen attention were the demonstrations by grade I till IV (Marjan Campus) girls’ section that included Lady Bug Vs Honeybee, drag the ball with a ring, butterfly, fill the bucket, chatti race, balloon popping race. Martial Arts & Gymnastics was another highly impressive contribution the crowd enjoyed a lot. Monster feet, Carrying the ball, four-man race, win the Chair, Sack race, and Human Caterpillar race were performed by City Campus (Boys Section, juniors). The power muscle games performances amongst grade V till XII were filled with a spectrum of scale, energy, endurance & strength. The Sports day is greatly valued amongst all other academic preferences along with a keen focus on Islamic values and teachings. In a speech by the Chief Guest Ms. Zia Batool shared her views about the vision of the school and encouraged the parents to work along the school in providing conducive facilities to the students who are active in sports and urged the guests to mentor them as and when required. The chief guest lauded the efforts of the school for providing a plethora of sports activities. She also stressed on the need to maintain a balance between academics and sports activities and highlighted the achievements and received a loud round of applause. She also admired the school’s efforts in Character building and exclusive training for the parents and teachers is very rare, which AIMS Education System has adopted as a permanent part of its system.

The Chairman of AIMS Education System, Mr. Almas Ayoub Sabir has handed over souvenirs to the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour. Mr. Almas Ayoub Sabir whose brainchild is AIMS Education System that has a history of long efforts stretched over more than 20 years and now growing to a bigger frame of educational network.
The eventful day ended with the note of thanks and the National anthem.
