ISLAMABAD: Under the auspices of AIMS Education System in collaboration with Pakistan Boy Scouts National Headquarters, a plantation drive has taken place in the outskirts of Islamabad with a pledge to recognize the importance of sustainability and combating climate change and environmental degradation due to human and industrial activities. More than five hundred plants were planted during a rigorous drive by the staff and Children together.
Tree plantation is not just something that should be done; instead, it is a necessity, the urgent need of the hour. Planting trees is especially important to protect our environment against air pollution and global worming. To this end, our young volunteers have been actively involved in organizing tree plantation campaigns.
AIMS Education System has always been more concerned and focused about action-based learning in schools on climate literacy and environmental education through creative and meaningful ways.
The Management at AIMS Education clearly envisages growth of the world and its population increase is resulting in horrendous situations, it is essential that communities pull together to recognize the importance of plantation and begin with educating students in a healthy and interactive environment.
This kind of effort to extend learning beyond the classroom to develop responsible attitudes and commitment, both at home and in the broader community that are aligned with the CGPM is the primary objective of AIMS Education and Pakistan Boys Scouts. And transforming learning at school into spaces for creative thinking, a source of inspiration, and a starting point for developing a sense of awareness and responsibility is another top priority of AIMS Education.
And a number of such productive activities are underway that are aligned with Clean Green Pakistan Movement (CGPM) and soon to be executed
