The Editor

Recently , I graduated from GSCWU BAHAWALPUR in English. I secured 3.53/4.00, which is good enough, in my opinion. I decided to continue and take admission in Mphil English from Islamia University Bahawalpur, but I was in shock when I heard about the fees. The fee is RS 87545/- per semester. Is it possible for any middle-class student to pursue his/her education dream at that rate. The Government should pay attention to the education system as the education of youth is the priority. Instead of distributing laptops and bikes among a few selected students there must be fee discount for each and every student. The scholarships should not be for a few selected students but for each student so that no student feel peft out. Being in the shoe of each of that student who is always unable to receive any financial aid, I can relate to the stress about pursuing education. The universities should also provide relief in fee structure that is going higher and higher with each passing day because In this era of inflation and poverty a student from middle or lower class always wonder about one thing that is: “SHOULD I CONTINUE MY EDUCATION?”

Thanking you.
Yours sincerely,
Areej Younis,
