Tashkent, Uzbekistan :President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has taken part in Navruz festivities.

The Head of the state talked with people, taking part in the festivities, congratulated them on the holiday.

In their prayers, representatives of the older generation asked the Almighty to send down bountiful harvests, prosperity and abundance to people, wished that next time they would be lucky again to meet Navruz in peace and prosperity.

The President watched the performances of collectives of national cultural centers, folklore and ethnographic ensembles. The Head of the state advised young performers to always learn new things and wished them success in their work.

Festivities in connection with the Navruz celebration continue in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions, in villages and mahallas.
