Tunisian Embassy hands over appointment letters to Tunisian Consul General in Lahore Mohammad Hameed and CG Peshawar Ammad Rashid

ISLAMABAD: A simple and graceful ceremony was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Islamabad for handing over appointment letters to Tunisian Consul General in Lahore Mohammad Hameed and CG Peshawar Ammad Rashid.

Tunisia keen to boost ties with Pakistan: Envoy Borhene El KamelAddressing the ceremony, Tunisian Ambassador to Pakistan Borhene El Kamel says bilateral relations between Pakistan and Tunisia would be further enhanced. He told the two Honorary Consul Generals that he was interested in promoting bilateral trade between Pakistan and Tunisia. The Ambassador also emphasized on the Cultural Exchange Program between Tunisia and Pakistan.

Tunisia keen to boost ties with Pakistan: Envoy Borhene El KamelThe Ambassador said that the Consul Generals will help the Tunisian authorities to support central economic, cultural and tourist cooperation with various Pakistani provinces. The Director General of Pakistan’s Foreign Office, Africa, Murad Wazir was also present on the occasion. He praised the efforts of Tunisian Ambassador Borhene El Kamel and said that he has played an important role in further strengthening Pakistan-Tunisia relations.

He said that the appointment of two Honorary Consul Generals in Pakistan was a great and important achievement of the Ambassador. Murad Wazir hopes that the new appointments would further enhance the relations between the two countries. On the occasion, Ammad Rashid and Muhammad Hameed thanked the Tunisian Government, the Foreign Ministry and the Ambassador. They said that they would play their role in further improving the relations between Pakistan and Tunisia.
