Baku :An online meeting was held on December 2 at the initiative of the Union of Volunteer Organizations of Azerbaijan and the National Volunteering Network of Kazakhstan to implement joint volunteer programs and projects aimed at achieving sustainable development goals of the countries.The meeting began with speeches by the chairman of the Union of Volunteer Organizations of Azerbaijan Tural Humbatov and the executive director of the National Volunteering Network Tatiana Mironyuk. Tatyana Mironyuk congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the full restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity after 30 years, the glorious and historic victory, and stressed that justice has found its place for Azerbaijanis who fled their native lands. Then T.Humbatov and T.Mironyuk gave detailed information about the activities and future prospects of the organizations they represent. At the same time, volunteers representing various volunteer organizations spoke about their activities and shared their personal experiences.
At the end, a memorandum on international partnership in the field of volunteering was signed between the Union of Volunteer Organizations of Azerbaijan and the National Volunteer Network of Kazakhstan. The memorandum reflects the development of cooperation between the two countries in this field, exchange of experience, development of joint projects involving volunteers from different countries
