Bahawalpur :The International Conference on Federal System, State and Society at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has come to an end. Organized by the Department of Political Science, the International Conference on German, Sudan, United Kingdom, Belgium and Pakistan has concluded. Institutional experts and researchers participated. In the concluding session, the conference declaration was read out according to which the federal system was considered as an excellent model for Pakistan’s social and societal development and it was emphasized that social and economic Opportunities for development should be given equally to all units of the federation. Respect for human rights and promotion of democratic values is the key to the success of the federal system. All sections of society, irrespective of race, religion, provinciality and linguistics are equal in the state. Prof. Dr. Yasmeen Rufi, the focal person of the conference, expressed his special thanks to Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur for organizing the conference. Whose special Thanks to the patronage, cooperation and guidance, the conference was successfully held. Prof. Dr. Musaur Hussain Bukhari, Head of the Department of Political Science, said that teachers, students and administrative officers of Jamia Islamia played an important role in the success of the conference. Thanks to the cooperation and day and night efforts, the conference was successfully held. Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, welcomed the launch of the conference as a welcome step for a new faculty and said that the articles read at the conference and national The views of the foreign delegates were very useful and standard and the faculty and students of Jamia Islamia, regardless of their department or subject, would benefit from it. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ayub Jajja, Head, Department of English, Dr. Abdul Sattar Khan, Head, Department of Geography also addressed the gathering. Among the keynote speakers of the conference were Prof. Dr. Khawaja Al-Qama, Dr. Chitra Sinha, Dr. Francois Boucher, Dr. Malte Riemann, Prof. Dr. Nazir Hussain, Prof. Dr. Iram Khalid, Prof. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal and Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed. It was considered very important in terms of its subject matter as the conference reviewed the federal system of Pakistan and other countries and made suggestions for their further improvement and development. Among the important articles presented at the conference were China and Russia. Review of Federalism and Conflict Resolution in the Federal System, Legislation on Family Freedom in the Federal System, International Federalism and Economic Relations, and the Positive and Negative Impacts of the C-Pack and Belt and Road Initiative on the Pakistani Federal System The review reviewed the evolution of the federal system in Pakistan, local governments and the federal system and social and economic development in the provincial areas and states, and discussed the movement for power sharing in Pakistan and the federal system.
