The Taliban have suffered heavy casualties during clashes with the Afghan security forces. According to the Afghan Ministry of Defence, Â 65 Taliban militants were killed, when Taliban Group attacked ANDSF outposts, Taliban offensives were rebuffed in Zherai, Arghandab, Panjwai and Shahwali Kot districts of Kandahar province. Additionally, a large number of their weapons and ammunition were destroyed as a result of reciprocal attacks.
In another battle, Afghan National Army repelled Taliban attack in Andar district of Ghazni province, as a result, 18 Taliban were killed and 12 others were wounded during reciprocal attacks of the Afghan National Army.
