Spokesman Report

Islamabad: We are extremely saddened by the large-scale damages caused by the devastating floods in Pakistan.
As Pakistan Government declared the state of emergency, the President of Turkmenistan H.E. Mr. Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent his condolence messages to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Dr. Arif Alvi, and Prime Minister H.E. Mr. M.M. Shehbaz Sharif.
Following the centuries-old traditions of friendship and good neighborliness, the President of Turkmenistan initiated the donation of relief goods to the flood-affected People of Pakistan.
Today, a special cargo flight from Turkmenistan reached Karachi, delivering Turkmenistan’s humanitarian aid in the amount of 40,5 tons of relief goods, including textile items, clothing, blankets, food products, clean drinking water, medicines, medical supplies, and other items.
This humanitarian cargo flight is another confirmation of our nations’ friendly and brotherly relations.
I would like to express the solidarity of the People and Government of Turkmenistan with the People and Government of Pakistan. We stand with Pakistan at this challenging time.
Turkmenistan-Pakistan Dosti Zenda Baad!
