ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif summoned a meeting of the parliamentary parties on Monday (today).
According to the sources, PM Shehbaz Sharif summoned a meeting of parliamentary parties, which will be held at 1:00 pm tomorrow in parliament house. The coalition parties will be briefed on the cases being heard by the Supreme Court (SC).
In the meeting, the prime minister will discuss the political situation and the case under hearing in the Supreme Court with the parliamentarians.
Shehbaz Sharif instructed all the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leaders to ensure their attendance at the meeting, adding that the country’s future is critical.
Moreover, he said that this meeting would be a decisive stage for the democratic future.
It is pertinent to mention here that Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif met with coalition parties on Saturday (yesterday).

The coalition parties expressed their “lack of confidence” in the three-member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan hearing a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) petition against the delay in elections of the Punjab Assembly, ARY News reported.
The decision was taken during a high-level meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) parties, chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif to discuss the “overall political situation of the country”, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
The coalition parties expressed a lack of confidence in the Supreme Court bench — comprising Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Muneeb Akhtar.
