P&G Pakistan donates over 350,000 products to combat the COVID-19 pandemic

Karachi: Procter & Gamble (P&G) Pakistan has contributed over 350,000 products in the form of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and N-95 masks  along with P&G health and hygiene products, including Safeguard, Ariel, Head&Shoulders, Pampers and Always, to meet the increased demands needed to safely combat the COVID-19 pandemic. This is estimated to benefit over hundreds of thousands of people impacted by the crisis across hospitals and provinces.

As the world continues to battle the COVID-19 outbreak, P&G Pakistan has once again stepped up its efforts as Force for Good to help the local communities fight the COVID-19 pandemic in Pakistan. Expressing his views, Sami Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer, P&G Pakistan said, “We are steadfast in our purpose and commitment to help Pakistani people tackle this pandemic and are providing much needed relief to the frontline workers and the local community at large amid these challenging times. As a major supplier of essential ware, P&G is playing an important role in helping people maintain proper hygiene, their personal health and a healthy home and through these efforts, we are honored to do our part,” concluded Sami Ahmed.

Since the outbreak earlier this year, P&G has been working globally with its long-standing charitable partners, government officials, non-government organizations, and relief agencies to respond to the pandemic. Furthermore, it is committed to maximizing availability of its products to consumers around the world who count on its brands and the benefits they provide. The Company is also steadfast in supporting communities, relief agencies and people who are on the front lines of this global pandemic to help overcome some of the challenges during this crisis.
