Madinah, Saudi Arabia – Ijaz Ahmed Gondal, a resident of Khan Muhammad Wala village in Bheera tehsil, Sargodha district, has built a successful career in the date palm business after moving to Saudi Arabia in 2003. His journey, which began with a work visa in search of employment, has now blossomed into a thriving enterprise that exports dates worldwide.

Speaking to Daily The Spokesman , Gondal shared his deep-rooted passion for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his long-standing desire to visit Saudi Arabia. “I always wished to come here, not just for work, but also to perform Umrah and Hajj,” he said.

Gondal started his career in Saudi Arabia working at a poultry farm. He later moved to a cloth factory alongside his cousin, Hafiz Sakhawat Javed. However, he soon found a new calling. “Allah changed my heart, and I decided to enter the date palm business. Unlike seasonal industries, this business runs all year round and brings abundant blessings,” he explained.

Now, with 13 years of experience in the trade, Gondal takes pride in running an ethical business that prioritizes quality and integrity. “We do not adulterate our products. We supply dates across the globe with honesty because I believe that earning through honest means brings blessings,” he said.

Gondal’s business deals with around 15 different varieties of dates, catering to international markets. His story serves as an inspiring testament to the power of faith, hard work, and perseverance in achieving success abroad.
