London :The Pakistan High Commission hosted a lively Mango Festival in London, celebrating the country’s iconic fruit and rich agricultural legacy. Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Mohammad Faisal, praised the mangoes, saying they “represent a legacy of agricultural excellence” and capture the vibrant essence of Pakistan’s terrain.
The festival featured a special appearance by legendary Pakistani folk singer Arif Lohar, adding a musical touch to the event. Guests enjoyed an array of mango varieties while celebrating Pakistan’s culture and traditions.
Attendees included Dr. Sarah Naeem, spouse of the High Commissioner, officers of the Pakistan High Commission, British friends of Pakistan, diplomats, senior UK government officials, members of the Pakistani diaspora, and media representatives. The event highlighted Pakistan’s rich heritage and strengthened cultural ties with the United Kingdom.
