Samarkand: On April 4-5, the ancient and beautiful city of Samarkand will host a High-Level International Forum titled “Central Asia Facing Global Climate Challenges: Uniting for a Common Prosperity.”
Representing the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Mr. Musadik Masood Malik will participate in the forum.
The Minister will deliver a speech during the key session “Climate Change in Focus: Building the Future Through Joint Action,” where he will share Pakistan’s successful experience, environmental initiatives, and national priorities in combating the climate crisis.
This visit follows the historic official visit of H.E. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to Uzbekistan in February 2025, and marks a significant step toward strengthening the strategic partnership between our two brotherly nations.
