Brussels: On the occasion of Pakistan Day, a Flag Hoisting Ceremony was
held at the Embassy of Pakistan on Saturday, 23 March, 2024.
The celebrations started with the recitation of Holy Quran,
followed by Flag Hoisting in synchronisation with the National
Anthem.
The Messages of the President , Prime Minister and Foreign Minister
of Pakistan were read out by Ambassador Amna Baloch , Mr.
Omar Hameed, Minister Economic and Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to World Customs Organization (WCO), Syed Asad Rizvi.
Pak Embassy organizes Flag Hoisting Ceremony to mark Pakistan DaySpeaking on the occasion, Ambassador Amna Baloch recalled the sacrifices and the determination of the Muslims, who aspired to create a separate homeland.
She underlined the
need to reaffirm the commitment to work towards making
Pakistan a model country in the comity of nations.
Members of the Pakistani community in Belgium and
Luxembourg and officials of the Embassy attended the solemn Flag Hoisting Ceremony in large numbers.
