Speaking at a reception hosted by Haji Abid Hussain, Central President of Overseas Pakistanis Welfare Council London, Bakhtawari expressed gratitude to the organizers and highlighted the investment opportunities in Pakistan. He noted that the current government’s investment-friendly policies will yield positive results for the country’s betterment.
Bakhtawari encouraged Overseas Pakistanis to invest more in Pakistan, as their remittances play a vital role in the country’s economic advancement.
Haji Abid Hussain echoed his sentiment by urging the community to strengthen the young generation’s connections with Pakistan by persuading it to prioritize investments in the motherland. He also requested the Pakistan government to address Overseas Pakistanis’ grievances and enhance interaction between business organizations of the two countries to attract investments.
Chairman Overseas Pakistanis Welfare Council Naeem Naqshbandi said the OPWC will extend all possible cooperation with regard to the connectivity of Pakistani business fraternity with the British business circles to the needful.
All the participants agreed that improving law and order situation in Pakistan is essential for both foreign and local investments by stressing the need for formulation of comprehensive and long-term investment policies for the purpose.
